Pet Peeves at Bingo

There are some things you just don't do when you go to play Bingo. My biggest pet peeve is when people go somewhere to play Bingo and all they do is TALK, and this includes while the caller is calling numbers. Come on people, don't complain that you don't win at Bingo if all you do is gab instead of pay attention to the numbers being called. And speaking of that, another pet peeve is when they don't understand the special games that are played. The reason they don't understand is because they DON'T PAY ATTENTION when the caller is explaining the game. Its not rocket science its BINGO. There is a reason for the board being up there and its not just for the numbers. The game is fairly simple even for the first timer who has NEVER played before in their lives.

And that brings us to the one pet peeve that I can't stand. When a special game is played, say a picture frame for example which means that in order to get BINGO you have to have ALL the numbers on the outside of the card COVERED. It does NOT mean that once you get 5 numbers covered, like a REGULAR BINGO that you immediately yell 'BINGO!' before realizing its a SPECIAL game. I once heard someone call out 'Bingo' during the final game of the night which is always COVERALL, and it is just what the word implies, you COVER ALL THE NUMBERS in order to get a BINGO.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind when people sit together and talk BEFORE the games start, or even during the intermission when they get snacks and drinks. Its when they chatter constantly DURING the games especially when its a special game which requires you to pay MORE attention because only certain numbers are called. So please, when you go to Bingo try to keep the talking to a MINIMUM so that other people who actually come to Bingo to hopefully win can hear the numbers instead of you talking.
